Re: [apple-iphone] messages on the lock screen ?

 

Hi guys. I thought I'd add my 2 cents to this topic too. I love getting my emails on the lock screen. I just discovered that feature when I got my 6 a month ago or so. One thing I want to know is this: My phone only seems to check the first email account I set up while locked. It doesn't check my gmail accounts, only the hotmail account which was the first. This was the same with my 4s. Is there any setting I've overloked which allows the phone to check all accounts and give a notification while locked?  Please let me know. Thanks.

Sounds like you may have inadvertently changed your notifications for Messages.  Go to "Settings">"Notifications">"Messages", and select how you would like to be notified.

I have changed a setting I think -  I do not get my messages when my phone is locked until I unlock it then the text shows up?   Have I changed something ?
