RE: [apple-iphone] MIght switch to a Mac from PC.

 

I been reading up more and am going to use that and see what happens.  If I did it manually

I would probably end up copying pics and things to the wrong places.

 

I am also going to try to use all the free stuff that comes with the Mac and not install a bunch

of things until I get used to it.  Have not used a Mac since the old b&w box way back so sure

a lot has changed. :>

In theory, using Migration Assistant should be the best way of getting all your user info (email accounts, passwords, etc.) over. It doesn't seem to work for everyone, though (for whatever reason).

 

If you have a full backup of a Mac, migrating that to a new Mac is the same as migrating directly Mac-to-Mac. I don't know if the same applies with a Windows backup.
