Re: [apple-iphone] Problems since iOS 11

Many apps are developed by youngsters academic projects. They are unique but later on, those developers are not motivated to update them. I also have 2 apps which have become bricks after updating of iOS

With best wishes,

A warning popped up every time I opened an app that was running on 32-bit for about the last year.  I contacted the developers of each app as suggested in the warning, but most of them did not respond.  Many of mine were games that I had enjoyed since the iPad was first released.

Surely you jest.  We speak here of a warning from Apple about the update amortizing several perfectly good aps.  I received no warning at any time or if I did and over-looked it I'm to blame.  But I would like to know where the warning was issued.

No jest.
The warning Pat wrote of came up on the screen of the iDevice every time you started an app that would not run under the next version of the operating system (iOS 11).

Of all the conceivable ways Apple could inform users of the upcoming change, none could be more direct and immediate than that.

Apps aren't "perfectly good" if the developer is unwilling or unable to keep them current.
