Re: [apple-iphone] iTunes 12.7

I've managed apps on my iOS devices for years. I use Apples iCloud. It works out just fine and in don't see that it takes longer than through iTunes on the computer.

Apple has done it again.

One of the realities of being really smart is that when you do make a mistake it is a doozy.

iTunes 12.7 drops app management to "focus solely on music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, and audiobooks." What will we lose next? Will syncing calendars go the way of syncing notes? What about iOS updates?

Addressing bloat does not mean pulling features out. "Sorry dude, our cars weigh too much so we're taking a wheel off."

iTunes was about managing portable iDevices. Now it isn't. Can you manage apps on your phone? Sure. Will it take longer? Absolutely.

Just to add insult to injury two of my apps are stuck halfway through an update. I can't use them and I can't update them. Way to go Apple.
