If the epub file is say 1MB, and you read it online it will use about 1MB of data, either your cellular data if you reading over 3G/4G or your home wifi on your broadband plan
If you download it, same applies, about 1MB
Depends on how and what you used to download the epub. Did you use an app? If you used an iPad it should be in the app you used to download. This is an iPhone forum but you didn't mention an iPad, is it not an iPad tablet? If so, it will be where in the file system you saved it to. I don't use Android or WP, but there must be a search function you can try, on the iPad its Spotlight, swipe down from mid screen to search

Subject: [apple-iphone] Data usage
When I read a book from the library on my Tablet without first downloading it am I using up my data?
If I download as "EPUB eBook" where does it go on the Tablet? Can't seem to find it.
Thanks.
