Don't you think that those could have been the differentiating points?
Perhaps another event in January would become an annual feature.

The apps could work only if appropriate sensors are built into the hardware of the watch.
Perhaps, that part is still under development.

I think it has the capability of some of the medical vital signs.

The exercise app talked about in the demo today showed a pulse reader.
The vital signs might be included in different  app.. but it is a good point... they didn't mention much about that.
