That said, I think you will not find the sapphire screen brittle.

A moot point, since they don't have sapphire screens at present.

Sapphire is supposedly next to diamond as far as hardness.

This is a big plus for me.

But are you going to wait until they have them?

It'll be very nice not needing a screen protector.  I know some say they never use one, and get no scratches, but my experience isn't so.

I'm one of those. Protective cases, yes, but no screen obscurer, and the iPhones look as good as the day they came out of their packaging.
