I found the problem — a senior moment! I had disconnected a powered USB my iPhone was plugged in to, to do a weekly backup. Duh!

After the typical low battery alert, my iPhone 4S is not charging. I tried two different charging cables. I didn't drop the phone so there is no physical damage. Unless there is some magic I can perform, I assume the iPhone is now electronic waste. Ideas?
