Re: [apple-iphone] two phones, one account

You are likely to have set up the calendars as shared calendars from icloud.  When you initially accept the invitation for a shared calendar, you get a choice of whether you want to be alerted to events and changes.  i think this can be subsequently modified only at the icloud level.

If you just want the alerts to come on a shared calendar, I believe there is a setting at Settings>Mail,Contacts, Calendars >Shared Calendar Alerts.   Please note this is all the way down on the bottom.

Both. She has chosen to not show my calendar on her phone but does have alerts set for calendar items. I have no alerts set for calendar. Even though the calendar items do not show on her phone, she get an alert for my calendar events.

My wife and I both have IPhone 5's, but I put them on the same account. She gets alerts from my calendar, but I do not. There must be a setting for that but after searching I have not found it. Any ideas?
