Happens to me a lot of time too. I think it's a memory issue. We need to clear up something somewhere. I'm just too lazy to find out. So I'd rather wait for the buffer.

Subject: [apple-iphone] Buffering Videos
I have both an iPhone 5 and an iPad 2.
When I watch videos on either device... in different locations... on Wi-Fi or LTE... there is always a bit of a buffering issue. It's not major, but it does hold the video up for a few seconds before playing.
Lately, however, as the video buffers, and plays, everything is fine. However, if I pause the video, or drag the playback to an earlier point in the video, I completely loose the buffered video. It has to "reload" before I can keep going.
This even occurs if I have watched a video through, and want to rewatch it.
This happens with YouTube, news videos and other videos found online (I really noticed it when I created a Tumblr account). I'm not sure if it's something on my end, since it happens on multiple devices, and occurs if I am at home, work or on the road. It does not occur on my work laptop, so it's not coming from YouTube or Tumblr.
Is it just me? Has anyone else noticed a change in video playback? I am looking for suggestions/thoughts/etc. because this is getting old!
Thanks!
Jim
