FYI:
What determines a "thread" in most modern, smart, email software is a thread-ID in the headers. You can delete the entire subject line, and the entire content, but if the thread-ID is unchanged, it will continue to be filed In the original thread.
"Creating a new thread" consists in simply starting from scratch with a NEW message (never a *reply*) and entering the forum address, and your new subject line.
A good mailer will have stored the forum email address, and all you will need to do is start to type, for example, "apple" and it will list for you the few addresses it knows about that start with that phrase.
