[apple-iphone] Sync contacts with Google?

 

4S, iOS 6.1.3
I have recently started using Gmail and have no problems with the mail portion of it. I don't see how I can sync my contact list with it however. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Do I need a seperate app? Will it sync via the cloud? I use the CalenMob app for my calendar and whenever I add an event on the phone it also appears on Google right away. It would be nice if I could get my contact list to work the same way.
