Dear Tanya
Sorry about your problem. I am only working with the information that you have supplied, plus guesses!
For example, I do not know how much experience you have as an iPhone Users:
* - How long have you owned your iPhone(s)?
* - Do you have much experience in customizing how the iPhone goes about its business, and how the iPhone responses to your commands (mostly via touch-screen buttons and controls). But don't forget about the Three-axis gyro, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer which are constantly sensing the position of the phone. Different Apts, yea, the iPhone itself response to the positions you put it into.
How do you gain maxium control over how your iPhone works and responds?
Enter the master control center:- "Settings"
Unless your "iPhone 5" is defective, which is not impossible, it could be doing what you told it to do.
Enter "Settings" from the "Home Screen" which ever one it's on.
Check in "General" check or update "Auto-Lock".
Check all of the Apts settings.
Before doing anything else - make sure your iPhone iOS is up to date.

All of a sudden when it is in my pocket or purse it suddenly zooms the screen and then the only way to get out is to reboot by holding the on/off switch at the top and the home button until it reboots. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, any solutions other than the only way I can return to normal as stated above.
