Can I do it this way without effecting the calendar? I am using a 3rd party calendar app (CalenMob) and for some reason it's data does not show up in the native iPhone app. CalenMob syncs via the cloud (I assume) as when I add an appointment it shows up in my Google calendar almost instantly without me doing anything.
