I went from a 4S to a 5.
Because its the latest! As long as I get something worthwhile
Its lighter. That doesnt really matter
It has a taller screen so more room, which I like. I like bigger screens
Its faster, as in you can tell its a bit more snappy
None of these are hot changes, not even close. I would suggest to see a 4S and 5 together, while turned on, so you can see if the extra screen size matters to you.

I'm currently using an iPhone 4 and my wife has a 3GS. At some point I figured to upgrade my phone to a 5 and give her the 4. But, now I'm considering upgrading us both to 4s.
My question, to those who currently use a 5 (and upgraded from a 4s)
Are the features of the 5 so hot that the upgrade was a no-brainier?
OR, might you have stayed on the sidelines if you'd not been quite so smitten with having the latest and greatest?
I was surprised to read recently that the 4s is selling pretty briskly still and that the 5 may not be selling as quickly as originally projected.
Thoughts?
