Re: [apple-iphone] Faulty Home Button

Impressive indeed if you are still under warranty. Had similar experience with an iPod and an older iPhone. Both got replaced.
Unfortunately, my current iPhone (4S) just went past its warranty and all of a sudden a couple of days ago, power (sleep/wake) button got "hard" or stuck or whatever, it doesn't work. All of a sudden. They would advise you to get a new one, which is ridiculous. Good thing it's not that hard to repair, so now my iPhone is back to normal. Still can't get a new one from my carrier until September or October.

He arranged an express replacement. Waited hours for the email confirmation. Tonight I get another email. Its being despatched from Sydney by TNT, its at TNT, e.t.a. is tomorrow! Its probably in the air from Sydney to Christchurch.
