Re: [apple-iphone] CDMA SIM Card

There is no such thing as a CDMA SIM card.

For the iPhone, I understand, Verizon provides a SIM card for their iPhone so that it can use GSM internationally, but the phone is CDMA for US service. I believe the Verizon iPhone is the only phone that can do both. The AT&T iPhone can only do GSM voice.

A quick web search found this list of carriers and which cellular transmission they use:

Just remember GSM, SIM card. CDMA, no SIM card.

Does Sprint/Verizon give CDMA SIM card like US cellular? What about other operators like Straight Talk, etc?
