Hi Ellen - not a specific answer to your iTunes problem but get a password manager app for your phone. ( like Strip, Splashid, or Passwords Plus). You can create one complicated password that you remember and all the others are associated with their websites and apps secured in the app. The password app can generate complicated passwords as well for each site. That way you can have all your passwords with you wherever you are.
