I understand your complaints but it's a free app. Some will like it, some won't. Those who don't like it won't use it. That's all there is to it. I'm sure there will be updates with features the majority of people want. I have been an Apple user quite awhile and that's what I've seen Apple do. The best way to get those things implemented, I'm guessing, is to post in the Apple forums in the form of a suggestion.
