This is a little side thread from your question but I am glad you mentioned about replying. did you mean replying to the group like this one? If so I find it rather enigmatic. When I replied to your message I got a new email and nothing in the email. To post your question I would have to copy and paste which is what I did here. sometimes it works when I reply but then I get a new email and have to fill in To and Subject. So for me it is easier to copy and paste.
As for the rest of your inquiry I'm not sure what you are looking for. I can archive my incoming mail in my mailbox, but I haven't seen a way to do it in group mails like this one except by making sure the subject is what you want. But the mails come in my date not subject.
