[apple-iphone] buying TV episodes

 

Hi Group - My elderly mother is in the hospital, but she has her iPad with her. She is a big fan of a TV show and wanted to know if I could get it on her iPad for her. The catch is that I am not in the same city as her!

I know her Apple ID and password. If I purchase it on my iTunes using her ID, will it be available on her iPad? If so, would she then be able to view it using iTunes?

Also, each episode is 1:24, i.e an hour and a half long. Any idea how much data that represents? (her iPad is on cellular, not wifi) I would purchase the standard definition one.
