Re: [apple-iphone] Unlocked iPhones

Several months ago I was inquiring in the ATT store about new family plan for me and my wife (At that time I had Verizon and my wife had T-mobile) and I asked about unlocking and I was told that I had to wait 1 year and once a year had elapsed on my contract than I should made official request and than they would unlock the phone. I eventually went with T-mobile. There contract was a lot less than ATT and they unlock the phones after 3 months. No questions asked. All you have to call them and they will send you a code which will unlock the phone.

If so, can you please provide book, chapter and verse on when, where and what you did to make that happen? If you do, you'll make a lot of us happy. ;-)

To improve your chances, make sure you go into a company store and not a franchise store.
