My wife just purchased a new SE and we are having sync issues. Calendar, Contacts and Reminders sync just fine with iCloud. I can log in with my PC and check to see that they are there.
Notes will not sync.
There are lots of articles on the internet telling you what needs to be set but that did not fix the problem. I spent about an hour on the phone with Apple and we could not get it to work. They took me through the same checks as you find online. Making sure that iCloud is chosen as your backup and that you have the correct email address.
My iPhone settings are the same as hers and it works just fine.
The one funny thing is her email address. When she got her first Apple phone, she was using Hotmail for he address. Later she changed to Gmail and for a very long time, when you opened iCloud, it showed the old Hotmail address. It had been hacked so she closed that account. Recently iCloud started showing her new email address and I do not think we made any changes.
At this point the only thing I can think to do is to delete her Apple account and recreate it.
I guess you can also sync notes with Google so that would be another option but I would like to get iCloud to work.
Does anyone have a better idea?
