OK thanks I did not know that about Bootcamp.  I think I am going to start with that

to keep the costs down as buying the Mac, external BR/DVD burner and possible

some software is adding up.  :>

I have been using VmWare's "Fusion", which is similar in function to Parallels, for about eight years.

 

It is extremely easy to set up and has performed flawlessly. (And it can run Linux as well as Windows)

 

I also had good luck with Apple's free "Boot Camp". It is easy to set up and it works well and probably is faster than Fusion. I abandoned it because the computer under Boot Camp can only run in one mode at a time. It can run Mac OS or it can run Windows, but it cannot run both of them at the same time.
