I used to do that using CopyTrans (copytrans.net) but that was when I was still using a Windows PC, which was four or five years ago. I don't think they have a Mac version. But if you have access to a Windows PC, it's a good option. It would then be easy to transfer all music files from Windows to Mac.

My macbook was stolen last weekend and i just bought a replacement yesterday. I was told by Apple that there is no way to move my HUGE volume of songs to my new mac, that only the purchased songs from the iCloud. Does anyone out here have any suggestions?? I downloaded (legally) these songs from my CD's over the years, but have NO interest in doing that again!
Any suggestions?
