I also have a complaint about the calendar that IO have not been able to work out. I cannot seem to get the app to display the entire next month. It will only tell me about any events I have in the coming month, but not display it.
I am running the iOS 7 on a 4S. There is another app that I hope they make some adjustments on which is TV Guide. I downloaded the update and it is not working well for me. I am going to wait for the next update on that before trying it again.

I agree the previous calendar was easier to use.
I have been wishing for more options in the alert times also for the same reason.
I have experienced problems with touching the wrong button in the new calendar. I don't consider my fingers fat but they are not skinny. This is a problem with some other apps also.
