Wait until fall to upgrade to the next model if you must upgrade. That way you will have access to any new eye candy features. It will also make your next iPhone more future proof, or keep it from being limited by any new iOS in the future.
The phone came with a manual built in. Open Safari/ Bookmarks and it is probably the last bookmark. Or download
http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf
onto your computer. That will cover more than the basics of how to use your iPhone, but if you want more, check out the many books others have written.

At this time I have the iPhone 4. I am thinking of upgrading. What are some of the differences between the 4s and the 5? When I think of upgrading, I am thinking the latest one should be the best?
My 4 is such a great phone and it still works great, so there may not be any reason to even upgrade. As a matter of fact, I still don't even know how to work a lot of things on the 4! I just bought the phone at the local verizon store (a little over two years ago) and they set a few things up on it and kinda just handed it to me! They did have someone to talk with me about a couple of things that, of course, by the time I got home, I didn't even remember most of what they had said. lol But, it came with no instructions book, etc. I am sure it will do way more stuff than I even know it will do.
Truth be known, if I just tried to learn more about the one I have, it would be like having a new one! But, back to my main question....if I do upgrade, do you happen to like one better than the other for some reasons you would just love to share?
Just me!
