[apple-iphone] Re: XPrintServer – ‘No AirPrint Printers’ Found Message on iOS device

I have FiOS with the Actiontec router and I can usually print from all of our iOS devices.
We do encounter problems when we lose power, the printer is unplugged, there are any changes made to the OS of any device or computer on the network or if a crow flies over the house on a heading of 183.

It usually takes a few hours to be able to print again. Sometimes I have to reboot the computer that originally was used to set up the FiOS router. Rebooting other gizmos has helped at times.

I suspect but I am not learned enough to know that the Actiontec router handles network addresses or maybe permissions or handshakes in a much slower or different manner than other brands.

I had an excellent router at the time of installation but the installer insisted on using the Verizon product. Perhaps for their network security or their convenience or to ease assistance to customers.

This router can be added in addition to your Actiontech router. (Note: The new router should be used as your Wi-Fi connection for your iOS device.)
