[MacBook] Re: MS Office Access

 

Many thanks to all of you who have offered advice.
I'm pleased to say that I have now successfully installed Parallels 8 and Windows 8 Pro (a full version was available at Currys/PC World - a DVD version that I installed via my external DVD drive)
I then installed Microsoft Office Professional 2010. (It has the Access program)
And all important, I was able to transfer from my pc, the current databases that I needed on the new mac.

So, I'm really pleased and surprised that I was able to follow all your instructions and do it!
I'm sure I'll be back with more queries.
