Today I had to go to a place in the SF Bay Area that I had not visited before. I looked it up in Apple Map, then download the "new" Google Map app. They both gave me the same instructions as to how to get there. What I finally used for navigation was Waze. Same directions as the other two, but nice voice instructions. Not having an iPhone 4s or 5, I don't have siri, so can't comment on that aspect.
