press and continue to hold the app's icon until the icon begins to wiggle.
when that happens a small red X will appear in the upper left corner of the
icon. pressing that X will cause the app to be immediately deleted from
*the phone* but not your iTunes library. if you want to keep the app in
iTunes but not on the phone then simply uncheck the app. if you want to
totally delete the app from iTunes right-click the app in your library and
then select 'delete'. personally I'd not delete any app that I paid for
from my library...you just never know when you might want to use it again.

I went with the 16gb, and deleted all my pics, the only time I looked at
them was on the PC anyway. I really don't know how to completely delete aps,
but I am ready to uncheck the ones I don't use in iTunes, I think that will
take them off the phone when I sync. I would like to know how to completely
delete them. Do you know how?
