RE: [apple-iphone] Busy signal - continued

Thank you Brent, I finally understand all that.

Now, here's another issue that I think might be linked to my Find Friends
app problem.

When I go to SETTINGS/PRIVACY/CONTACTS or Calendars, Reminders, Photo's, or
Bluetooth Sharing - absolutely nothing is listed under any of them.
For instance, when I touch CONTACTS it says "Applications that have
requested access to your contacts will appear here". I understand that Find
Friends uses the contact list, and it should be listed here. However, when
I go into Find Friends/Requests, when I click to add friends it has the TO:
line to enter an email or contact name. It does not have the little plus at
the end of the line to go to my contacts to choose a name.

I have been searching on the forums for an answer, but they all say that I
need to turn the switch ON in SETTINGS/PRIVACY/CONTACTS. For me there is no
listing there to turn on.

Can anyone offer help?
Janet

It is not unconditional. You have several options. You can let the people on
your favorites list come through or you can set up a group that will go
through. You also have the option "Repeat Call". This will let anyone that
calls twice within 3 minutes to go through.
