I would also like to use my (soon to be) retired 3GS as an iPod touch. What I've read around the internet call for different measures. Some say remove sim, others say leave it in, etc.
If someone would please point me in the correct direction, I would be most grateful. I have many 30 pin dock devices which would be grateful too.
