Re: [apple-iphone] Can You Downgrade iOS?

Jeeze I thought things like this happened only to me! I'd sue the dodge dealer for a non-functioning Bluetooth handsfree and ask him to return my money.

Then, early this year he had a Dodge bluetooth "hands-free" system installed in his car, at a cost of $500, by the dealer. After struggling for some time trying to get it to work he discovered from the dealer (and had confirmed by Dodge) that the Dodge vehicle software would no longer work with iOS 5.

Unfortunately, the new version only works with the premium version of their system, not the basic version in my son's car. They are (or at least may be) working on a version for his system.

The questions are, can this be done, where can he get that version and how would he go about making the change? Apple support only lists for download upgrades to move forward to newer versions, not complete versions or downgrades.
