Re: [apple-iphone] Re: Downloading Audiobooks From Library

Hi Bob,

I'm so glad that worked out for you. I don't really have a special email address or phone number for Apple but if you go to their website at apple.com, you can send them an email. Lots of people do think that we just don't want to make our app more compatible with the WMA format but it is not us. The publishers choose that format to be able to apply the digital rights protection to them. You can't download or transfer a WMA audiobook to an Android device. So, at least with iTunes, it can be done on an Apple device. And, there are many more WMA titles to choose from at the library than MP3. If you need anything else, just let me know.

I still find it unfathomable that this problem cannot be resolved, I realize the problem lies mostly with Apple. If OverDrive was some little isolated app I could see Apple not paying any attend to the problem and letting you slide. That obviously is not the case though. Do you have any email address or phone number that I could contact Apple and voice my displeasure?
