1) I have a video camera with GPS. It can geotag both videos and
photographs.

On my Windows Mobile device I have a GPS utility that can geotag the
photographs in a given directory. (Batch-processing before you move
from the spot.)

2) I'd actually welcome a way (under iOS or Windows) to show on a map
where a photograph with geotag was taken.
(I'd expect Google Earth to accept drag&drop locating, but it
apparently doesn't.)
