I ended up changing my main email address because I was getting pictorial porn spam from yahoogroups. I also changed the email for my groups on yahoo. I still get some spam but much better. I complained to yahoo as well. I also report the spam then put it in my junk box. I do have to say that a lot of senders had hotmail addresses. That too is better since I block the sender and hotmail.
On another note, I get terribly bothersome calls on my calls from computers with bogus numbers, who most of the time don't even answer even if I wait. I worry that if this will ever get to my iphone, I'll really be angry. I get some texmessage ads and a few calls from telemarketers on my iphone, but it has not been as bad as what I get at my home land line phone.
You would think other people have better things to do with their time.

Boy, the spam I've been getting. It's all "you've got a message, click this link" or something similar. I've checked the email addy they're being sent from and they're all from addys with yahoo.com. I got rid of all the hotmail spam just by blocking hotmail from my gmail account. I noticed since participating quite a bit more in my yahoogroups, the spam has started. I can't say that it's because I send messages to my yahoogroups more these days but it sure is a coincidence.
Anyone else having this problem? Also, I don't remember if there was an answer to this question or not but is there a way to mark email as junk mail on the iPad or iPhone? or do I have to do it via my iMac?
