[apple-iphone] Re: No Voice Directions in 'Maps' app

 

I haven't been following this discussion closely so I may be off base. If you have your car connected to he iPhone by Bluetooth when using Maps, that connection may be interfering with voice directions. In my 2012 Legacy I can connect and use car speakers to answer phone, but that disables Maps voice directions. A bummer, but true. If I want Maps to talk, I plug it in to charge, but leave Bluetooth off.

Have you checked out the automatic photo albums in Yahoo Groups?
When you send mail to your Yahoo Group with photos attached, a photo album with attached photos is automatically created. When your group members reply to the email with photo attachments, they are added to the 'photomatic' albums automatically!

BTW I find that the only time my mute switch gets changed accidentally is when I take the phone out of the case and put it back in.

When you send mail to your Yahoo Group with photos attached, a photo album with attached photos is automatically created. When your group members reply to the email with photo attachments, they are added to the 'photomatic' albums automatically!

Although you didn't mention the mute switch, I assume you've checked that?

[apple-iphone] iPhone Sounds Solved

 

Okay, a major "D'oh!" or at least "Duh" (senior?) moment. I discovered the side switch just now accidentally set to Mute, which I never do except in a movie theater (where I haven't been for weeks). No clue how it was hit, as it's recessed behind its Mophie case. Anyway, sorry for the false alarm.

I'm not seeings Sue's suggestions to you, perhaps she emailed them privately to you. 


But Maps has its own volume control, that appears after you start the navigation. Icon on the bottom right.
