[apple-iphone] questions about my iPhone and seeking suggestions

 

I bought a refurbished iPhone 6s and after a couple months of use I am having some performance issues that have are becoming increasing annoying.

The phone has operated well enough but I have grown tired of having to deal with the issue listed below. seeking some advice, 

for example

1) phone often (but not always) will  not display recent calls, when I access that screen the list is incomplete, even call I just answered will not be displayed. and the list not been updated with calls previously received. I have to restart phone for it to show and updated list of calls.

2) minor bugs such as the phone icon indicating I have missed 1 call but the number on the icon never goes away even if I clear the entire list of calls received it still shows I have missed a call

2) similar situation with messages. phone does not update list recently received  messages and will only do so after I restart the phone

3) MOST FRUSTRATING -- the Message app, as I begin to type TO WHOM the message is to be sent,  as I type letters/symbols they appear then disappear. sometimes the only way I can make it work is to go to contacts and choose send message to that person. This is obviously very frustrating.

Im thinking this is a hardware problem and not a software issue but seeking ANY Recommendations.

I have had the response to a message I sent show up before the message I sent.  I can resolve it by turning off the phone to reset the cellular connection.  I think there is a sync problem between the network time and what the phone has and therefore the response is shown before the message you initially sent.  I'm having the issue on the AT&T network - are other people having it on different cellular networks?

As I implied, conditions may change, and I should have included photo syncing. 

Could have been weather, could have been a lot of things. We could have checked a few things, but since you did not answer the questions posed, we will have to chalk it up to voodoo.

Several weeks ago I started noticing that my messages do not show up in the order they are sent/received.  Many time the answers show up before the question does on the screen, even though they of course were sent that way.

The other issue I have is that when I click on a photo sent in messenger and select the Save Image option, the photos no longer show up in Photos as they used to.  Some of them are sent to Photos just fine and others are not.  And they no longer sync between my devices as they used to.

Any ideas what might be causing this?
