[apple-iphone] Re: iPhone not ringing on incoming calls

I think you nailed it. I did not think the "Do Not Disturb" was on, but apparently it was. The setting "Manual" was turned on. I believe I thought that "Manual" meant - only if I set it each time I wanted it, sort of like in iTunes where you tell it to sync manually. I turned that off and now I will see if that works. That was probably it. Thanks to everyone for your excellent suggestions. I always learn from reading everyone here.

Now, another question.  I get the Digest. when I post by clicking on "Reply to Group" it looks like it does not quote the message I am replying to. Does that show up automatically when the message goes out, or do I need to "Copy & Paste" that manually into my post? Thanks all.

Any opinions of Consumer Cellular phone plan compared to ATT or Verizon.  Right now I am with ATT with a contract that expires Dec 2015, which means a fairly high ETF fee.

I have the senior plan at $45 month: 200 minutes phone, 200 MB data and no texting.  Consumer Cellular seems very reasonable and tempting.   Here is a link to their plans.

Has anyone here tried them.  I would love to get some input.

RE: [apple-iphone] 5c lightning cable doesn't work

same here. over the past 5 or 6-years I have purchased additionl apple-branded, kensington-branded and generic cables and desk chargers. I have had one or two generic chargers go bad (pretty sure that was from a power spike) but all of the cables are still 100% functional.
