Re: [apple-iphone] Mail doesn't delete

What email app are you talking about? I use 4 different ones.

When you read a message it should be marked as read. I don't understand.

When I put a message on trash directly when reading message, it does not delete. When reading a message and mark it as Unread, it does not mark. Flag works. Any idea why I can't delete ir mark a message as read when I am reading the message?

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.

How awful!  Checking mail is such a bother.

This happens to me as well. Seems to be a glitch with Apple. I'm on the beta testing.

Re: [apple-iphone] iTunes

Upgrade to what? Is the iPhone on the latest iOS?

How are you syncing the files? Using playlists? Manually? Syncing the whole library?

[apple-iphone] Deleting mail causes the first email to appear

Sorry to send this again but I'd be grateful for any help anyone has to offer.

This is continuing to happen.  It doesn't happen on my iPhone 5 which runs on iOS 6. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?  Restarting doesn't help.

Every Time I delete a mail it jumps back to the first email in the list and I'm obliged to start from my first email.

I tried restarting the phone.  This is happening on both my phones the iPhone 6 and the 7.  It doesn't happen on the iPhone 5 with an ancient iOS.  It's definitely something to do with the iOS update.  Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?  Any solutions?  Thanks

I don't think that this is a setting or similar.

This may be a synchronization error with the mail server (apparently Apple) or with the mail client (app) that you're using.

I stopped using Newton as my default mail client for similar behavior (spanning updates), and I briefly experienced it last week using Spark.
If the error should be at your side, restarting your device could help (and not damage): it would likely delete temporary files that might be corrupted.
