When you use the file sharing section of iTunes to sync a file with your iPhone, you must select an app on the left section, and add the file to *that app's* files.

Which app did you add it to?

Re: [apple-iphone] Transferring Video File to iPhone

Get VLC...it's much simpler and a Pretty good App. You can also use their website to download their Player which can also play iTunes music. But also..you can just drop and Drag the video file also..OR..right click and play it from iTunes IF....iTunes is your default player.

I don't want to sync the Mac's Photos to the iPhone as there are a great many.

How do I display that video?

Re: [apple-iphone] iTunes to CD?

I'm using a Mac, but am guessing that the process is similar on your system.  I first select the songs & create a playlist in File>New.  There is a choice in the File menu to then burn the selected playlist to disc.

That applies only to music bought before 2007. Since then, the iTunes Store has sold music that is both higher quality (256 kbps) and DRM-free.

Copy Yes....As long as it's NOT DRM music. If your backing up on a Disc then it's ok..but DRM music you purchase from iTunes won't play on anything else..but in iTunes.
