version of iOS 6. It sounds like they "bought" developer slots (people pay
the $99 for registered devices then resell the 100 slots at $5-$10 each
making a huge profit and giving the end buyers early access to beta
software but when the final version is released and/or they get caught
Apple clears the device ids and if you haven't upgraded by them to the
final/public release you are out of luck).

[apple-iphone] Sprint Beta iOS6 and phone locked up
A friend of mine has 2 iPhones 4 and 4s - her son downloaded the iOS6 Beta awhile back last night all of a sudden both phones tried to activate. Sprint says it is an Apple issue - My Apple says they do not recognize the message. But had had several people call with the same question.
Phone says this device not registered as part of the iPhone developer program. Only options are emergency call start over or wifi . all of those options go right back to the same spot. Phone does nothing.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Verizon iPhone 5 users can now download an update to fix issues with
the phone's cellular data usage while using Wi-Fi. Apple's website
notes that the "carrier settings update resolves an issue in which,
under certain circumstances, iPhone 5 may use Verizon cellular data
while the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network." Many users were
reporting cellular data drain with the phone while using Wi-Fi, an
issue that may have resulted…

[apple-iphone] Re: Poll results for apple-iphone
I closed the poll as even with 1000's of members
the vote count was hardly going up.
