Now there is an app I'd gladly pay for. You'd think that if I can block unwanted callers on a land line, Apple would be able to figure out how to do that. Actually I had the silly idea that my smarty-pants iPhone could do that and I had accidentally blocked the number that tried to call. Some drunk, no doubt. It rang so many times I thought it would have gone to voice mail like other calls I get but can't answer fast enough.

CallFilter would either put him through to voice mail or hang up on his calls depending upon the day of the week and the time of day. I think it also had a feature for blocked or unknown callers. But apparently, it needs access to areas that Apple holds off-limits.
